Trackful is a personal fitness tracking app, operated by Trackful LLC, designed to help you log workouts, nutrition, sleep, and body measurements over time. Trackful LLC is responsible for the personal information described in this policy, and “we” and “us” in this policy mean Trackful LLC. Using Trackful requires an account.
We collect the information you enter into the app, such as physical measurements, workout and nutrition logs, sleep records, notes, and photos, along with the email address on your account. This information is yours. It is not sold to third parties, and it is not used for advertising, apart from the optional marketing emails described below.
We collect limited information about how the app is used and how it performs, such as feature usage and crash reports, and the device information needed to send you notifications. We use it to keep Trackful working and to improve it. It is not used for advertising.
Your data is stored on your device and, while you're signed in, automatically synced to secure cloud storage linked to your account, so it's available across your devices and isn't lost if you change phones.
Your data is encrypted in transit and stored securely in the cloud. Your email address is used to identify your account and to contact you about it. We do not share it with third parties for their own use. You can delete your cloud data at any time from the app's Data & Privacy section. While you're signed in, new activity will sync again.
Marketing emails are optional and are only sent if you opt in, which you can do when you sign up or later in Settings. They include training tips, news about new features, and offers. To send them, we share your email address with our email delivery provider, which sends them on our behalf only. These emails may record whether they were opened and which links were clicked, so we can improve them. We keep a record of when you opted in or out. You can opt out at any time in Settings or with the unsubscribe link in any marketing email. Opting out does not affect your account or the emails we send you about it. If you delete your account, your email address is removed from our marketing list.
Progress and meal photos are stored privately and are never publicly accessible. Some features process your photos in order to work, for example recognizing the food in a meal photo, checking that progress photos meet our guidelines, and comparing your progress over time in your weekly analysis. We do not use your photos for any other purpose.
Certain features use AI, including trusted third-party AI services, to generate personalized results based on the information you have entered or photographed. When you use these features, only the information needed is sent securely to generate a response. It is used to provide the feature, and we do not use it to train AI models.
If you connect Apple Health, Trackful reads and writes the health and fitness data you choose to allow, such as activity, heart rate, sleep, body measurements, and nutrition. Health data is never used for advertising or marketing and is never sold. It is used only to provide Trackful's features, including your personalized analysis.
Menstrual cycle data is read from Apple Health only if you turn on Cycle-aware training. Your cycle dates stay on your device; only your current cycle phase may be used in your weekly analysis. You can turn this off at any time in Settings.
If you pair with a workout partner, they can see limited information about you, such as your name, profile photo, streak, and badges. You can remove a partner at any time.
We do not sell your data. We do not share your data with advertisers. We only share data with service providers (such as cloud hosting, AI processing, analytics, crash reporting, email delivery, and subscription management) to the minimum extent necessary to operate the app, and only with providers required to protect it in line with this policy. Food searches and barcode scans are looked up in third-party food databases; these lookups contain only what you search for. Purchases are processed by Apple or Google, and we never receive your payment card details. We may also disclose information when required by law.
You can export all your data at any time from the Data & Privacy section. You can delete your local data, your cloud data, or your account entirely from the same section. Deletions from cloud storage are completed within 30 days. We keep your data while your account is active. You can withdraw your consent at any time by deleting your account. You can also disconnect Apple Health, turn off Cycle-aware training, or opt out of marketing emails in Settings, and contact us to access or correct your information.
Trackful is intended exclusively for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18.
We may update this policy from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.
